A public guide to recommendations, discovery, and member control

Social Media Built for Adults. 18+.

A Feed Built for Connection and Discovery

The Sxgram feed is designed to help members keep up with the people they choose to follow while discovering creators, influencers, businesses, products, and ideas that may be relevant to them. Rather than displaying every post in a strictly chronological order, Sxgram uses a combination of signals to organize eligible content for each member. The goal is to make the feed more useful without allowing popularity alone to decide who gets seen.

Sxgram serves an adult community with many different interests, professions, identities, and reasons for using social media. A useful feed must reflect that complexity while respecting member choice, lawful expression, consent, safety, and account privacy. It should help people discover more of what matters to them without requiring every creator to arrive with a large audience.

What You May See in Your Feed

Your feed may include posts from accounts you follow, content connected to your activity, posts receiving authentic interest from people in your network, and recommendations from accounts you have not discovered yet. Sxgram may also introduce content from newer or emerging creators so that discovery does not become limited to the platform's largest accounts. The exact combination may change depending on the accounts you follow, the availability of recent eligible content, and the way you use Sxgram.

Accounts you follow remain an important foundation of the feed. Recommendations beyond your network are intended to expand discovery, not replace the relationships you intentionally chose. When there is not enough recent or eligible content from followed accounts, Sxgram may include additional recommendations that appear relevant to you.

How Sxgram Organizes Content

Sxgram considers several categories of information when determining which eligible posts may be most useful to a member. No single signal determines placement, and the importance of a signal may change depending on the member, the content, and the circumstances. Sxgram may test and improve these systems over time as the community and platform evolve.

Your Connections

Following an account is one of the clearest ways to tell Sxgram that you want to see its content. The feed may also consider whether you have recently and meaningfully interacted with an account through actions such as visiting its profile, commenting, sharing, saving, or choosing to follow after viewing a post. These relationship signals may become less influential over time when interaction stops and more influential when a connection becomes active again.

Your Activity and Interests

The feed may consider the topics, categories, accounts, and content formats with which you choose to interact. Deliberate actions generally provide a stronger signal than passive exposure or an accidental tap. Sxgram does not need to assume that every post you view represents an interest you want to see repeatedly.

How Recent the Content Is

Newer posts will generally receive more opportunity because members expect a social feed to feel current. However, Sxgram does not treat age as the only measure of relevance, and an older post may continue to appear when it remains timely or useful. Different forms of content may also remain relevant for different periods of time.

Meaningful Engagement

The feed may consider whether people are authentically engaging with a post, but raw totals do not tell the entire story. A post's response may be evaluated in context, including how long it has been available, how often it has been shown, and whether interactions appear genuine. Comments, shares, saves, follows, profile visits, and other deliberate actions may communicate more meaningful interest than a like alone.

Content Quality and Integrity

Sxgram may consider whether a post is complete, original, accurately presented, technically functional, and eligible for recommendation. Broken links, duplicate material, misleading Product Cards, deceptive claims, engagement manipulation, or unresolved rights and consent concerns may reduce or prevent distribution. Lawful adult-oriented subject matter is not automatically treated as low-quality merely because it is intended for adults.

New and Emerging Creators

A discovery system should not require creators to already be popular before they can be discovered. Sxgram may show eligible content from newer or less-established accounts to a limited audience and learn from the response. This provides an opportunity to earn broader distribution without guaranteeing reach or placing unfamiliar content ahead of every chosen connection.

Why You Are Seeing a Recommendation

When Sxgram recommends a post from an account you do not follow, the platform may provide a plain-language explanation. Depending on the primary reason for the recommendation, you may see language such as Based on your activity, Popular with people you follow, New creator, or Trending in a topic you follow. Posts from accounts you already selected may be identified as Following.

These explanations are intended to make discovery more understandable. They summarize an important reason for the placement without revealing private information, security systems, or every factor considered by the feed. Sxgram will not use an explanation that exposes another member's confidential activity or suggests a sensitive personal inference.

You Help Shape Your Feed

The feed learns from the choices you make on Sxgram. Following an account, interacting meaningfully with a post, or exploring a creator's profile can help Sxgram understand what you find useful. Choosing Not Interested, Hide, Unfollow, Mute, Block, or Report can reduce or eliminate content you do not want to see.

These actions do not all mean the same thing. Selecting Not Interested may reduce similar recommendations without penalizing a creator across the entire platform, while blocking an account should prevent its content from reaching you. Reports may be reviewed under Sxgram's policies, but coordinated or abusive reporting should not automatically suppress lawful content without appropriate review.

Following and Discovery Serve Different Purposes

Following expresses an intentional relationship, while discovery introduces possibilities outside that relationship. Sxgram aims to maintain a meaningful balance between the two rather than allowing either one to consume the entire experience. The balance may vary when a member follows very few accounts, followed accounts have not posted recently, or available content is restricted or repetitive.

Sxgram may also provide a Following-focused view that places greater emphasis on recent content from selected accounts. A personalized feed and a Following feed answer different needs, and members should not have to abandon one to benefit from the other. Future controls may provide additional ways to adjust the experience.

Verification Does Not Buy Organic Reach

A Verified Account can unlock additional Sxgram features, publishing tools, discovery opportunities, Product Cards, editorial capabilities, and access to eligible programs. Paying for verification does not guarantee that a post will appear in another member's feed, and Verified status does not directly purchase organic ranking. Content must still earn distribution through relevance, authentic audience response, quality, eligibility, and member choice.

Verification and account-transparency signals may help Sxgram understand whether an account is authentic and in good standing. Those signals may support safety review or eligibility for certain features, but a badge is not a promise that every post will receive greater reach. Advertising or paid promotional placements, when offered, must be clearly distinguished from organic recommendations.

Trust, Safety, and Recommendation Eligibility

Content must comply with the Sxgram Terms of Use, Platform Policies, Community Guidelines, age requirements, privacy rules, and applicable feature requirements before it can be recommended. In some circumstances, content may remain accessible from an account's profile but may not be eligible for broad recommendation. This distinction allows Sxgram to preserve lawful expression while applying a higher standard to content actively distributed beyond a member's chosen network.

Sxgram may restrict recommendation when content creates significant concerns involving consent, exploitation, impersonation, fraud, intellectual-property rights, deceptive commerce, unlawful products, privacy, safety, or manipulation. Account blocks, visibility settings, geographic restrictions, age controls, and moderation decisions are applied before content is recommended. Sxgram may also request information or review a post, account, link, Product Card, or affiliated program when additional context is required.

Preventing Manipulation

Purchased engagement, automated activity, coordinated engagement rings, repetitive comments, deceptive thumbnails, duplicate posting, fabricated testimonials, false product claims, and other attempts to manipulate distribution may be discounted or removed from consideration. Sxgram may take action against an individual post, account, external link, product, affiliate program, or coordinated network when the evidence supports it. The platform does not publish exact fraud thresholds because doing so could make manipulation easier.

Authentic participation should be more valuable than manufactured activity. This means the largest visible number will not always produce the highest placement, and a sudden burst of engagement may receive additional review rather than automatic distribution. The objective is to reward genuine audience value instead of the ability to purchase or coordinate artificial attention.

Product Cards, Affiliate Content, and Commercial Posts

Posts containing Product Cards, affiliate links, sponsorships, gifted products, or other commercial relationships may be eligible for the feed when they comply with Sxgram's policies. Creators and businesses remain responsible for accurate claims, current product information, required disclosures, and the rules of any external merchant or affiliate program. Sxgram does not process third-party product sales, affiliate commissions, or creator payouts simply because commercial content appears in the feed.

Commercial content is not automatically rewarded or excluded merely because it may generate revenue. It must compete for organic relevance under the same general principles as other eligible content, while also meeting applicable advertising and disclosure requirements. Misleading prices, fake urgency, fabricated reviews, unsupported claims, or hidden material relationships may reduce distribution or lead to enforcement.

Creating a More Diverse Feed

Sxgram may adjust the order of otherwise relevant posts to prevent an experience dominated by one account, subject, format, product, external website, or affiliate program. The same post should not repeatedly appear during a normal feed session, and members should not encounter long runs of nearly identical content. Variety is part of relevance because a feed can become less useful even when each individual post appears related to an interest.

These adjustments do not guarantee equal distribution or identical outcomes for every creator. They are intended to reduce repetitive experiences, widen discovery, and prevent early popularity from becoming an automatic permanent advantage. Sxgram may review distribution patterns to identify unintended concentration, feedback loops, or technical behavior that conflicts with these goals.

What the Feed Does Not Guarantee

Sxgram does not guarantee impressions, engagement, followers, clicks, sales, commissions, media coverage, or any other result. Feed placement can change as new content becomes available, member interests evolve, signals lose relevance, safety information changes, or the recommendation system is improved. A post performing well with one audience does not mean it will be appropriate for every audience.

The feed is not a universal ranking of who is important, talented, trustworthy, attractive, or successful. It is an attempt to organize eligible content for a particular member at a particular moment. Creators should build genuine relationships and publish useful content rather than attempting to reverse-engineer individual placements.

How the Feed Will Evolve

Sxgram will continue testing how the feed balances relevance, relationships, discovery, creator opportunity, safety, and member control. Changes may affect the information considered, the way recommendations are explained, the amount of new content introduced, and the controls available to members. Material changes to these principles may be reflected in an updated version of this document or other Sxgram notices.

Engagement alone will not determine whether a change is successful. Sxgram may also evaluate member satisfaction, discovery-to-follow activity, negative feedback, reports, blocks, distribution concentration, creator opportunity, system reliability, and the quality of resulting interactions. A feed that increases activity while reducing trust or meaningful discovery would not fulfill the purpose of the product.

Our Position

An algorithm should not decide who matters. Its job is to help each member find the people, businesses, products, ideas, and conversations that may matter to them while respecting the relationships they have already chosen. For Sxgram, that requires combining relevance with transparency, discovery with control, and engagement with a deliberate commitment to creator opportunity.

The objective is not to keep people scrolling at any cost. The objective is to make Sxgram more useful every time someone participates and to build a healthier distribution system for adults, creators, influencers, and businesses. When the feed works as intended, members discover more of what they value, creators have a meaningful opportunity to earn attention, and people have clearer control over what appears in front of them.

Questions and Feedback

Members may submit feed questions, recommendation concerns, reports, or feedback through the Sxgram contact page at https://www.sxgram.com/contact. Requests involving a specific post or account should include enough information for Sxgram to identify the content without requiring the member to publicly disclose private information. Additional rights, restrictions, and responsibilities are described in the Sxgram Terms of Use and Platform Policies.
