Ray Ray Is Doing Something the Creator Economy Was Supposed to Make Obsolete
A DVD release in 2026?

When Ryder Vale saw the press release about Ray Ray's second foxslayer DVD, one word stopped him:
DVD.

In an era of streaming, subscription feeds, disappearing Stories and infinite scrolling, turning digital content into physical media sounds like going backward.

Except that's not what Ray Ray is doing.

She created a project for an audience she already owned. She proved there was demand. She turned it into a named series. Then she expanded its distribution beyond her membership site and into physical retail.

That's not nostalgia.

That's intellectual property.

And there's a much bigger lesson here for creators.

We've been conditioned to:
Create → Post → Monetize → Forget → Repeat.

Media companies don't think that way.

They build catalogs. They repackage intellectual property. They create new distribution windows. They find new audiences for things they've already made.

Ray Ray isn't simply creating more content. Between her foxslayer series, physical distribution, Deep Thots podcast, merchandise and direct audience, she's beginning to look a lot more like a small media company built around her own personal brand.

Maybe your old content isn't actually old content.

Maybe it's inventory.

And maybe the question isn't, “What should I create next?”

It's: “What else can I build from what I've already created?”
