Enough to pay rent. Raise a kid. Hire an accountant. Take a vacation. Build savings. Quit a job they hated. And maybe, eventually, build a career that lasts longer than the algorithm that discovered them.

That might sound less exciting than another Lamborghini.

It might also be considerably more important.

Because a healthy industry can't be five people getting spectacularly rich while everyone else buys a lottery ticket.

It needs ladders.

It needs infrastructure.

It needs creators who can survive the boring month when nothing goes viral.

And Ryder makes an argument I think this entire industry needs to wrestle with:
"Millionaires make headlines. Middle classes make industries."


Maybe the biggest revolution in spicy content isn't creating the next superstar.

Maybe it's creating 100,000 ordinary, sustainable small-business owners.
